Hendler Family Brewing Company is recruiting for a Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of Hendler Family Brewing Company hospitality, office and external spaces. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for our guests and staff. This role requires someone who is proactive, efficient, and able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting throughout the beer hall and Springdale Offices.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are fully stocked with supplies.
Empty trash and recycling bins regularly and ensure proper disposal.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar, dining areas, and outdoor spaces.
Clean the front entrance door, windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors as needed.
Keep locker rooms, service closets, janitor closets, etc. in neat and clean condition at all times.
Report to building management any observed building deficiencies e.g. leaking or inoperable light or switches, loose baseboards, faulty locks, etc.
Ensure all cleaning supplies and chemicals are stored and handled safely, following OSHA guidelines.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facility Manager promptly.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with setting up and cleaning after events, including moving tables, chairs, and other furniture.
Assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and painting.
Job Requirements:
Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred, especially in a hospitality or food/beverage environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including cold storage areas and outdoor spaces.

Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
