Salary: $17/hr 

JOB DESCRIPTION & EXPECTATIONS 
Wormtown Brewery’s newly revamped Shrewsbury Street taproom is reopening soon, and we’re building a hardworking, reliable, positive kitchen team to support the fresh energy coming into the space. We’re looking for PM Dishwashers who bring a great attitude, take pride in behind-the-scenes work, and help keep our kitchen moving smoothly.

As a PM Dishwasher, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, supporting the kitchen line, and ensuring the taproom operates efficiently during peak hours. This position includes light prep cook duties such as portioning, washing produce, and basic food preparation to support the culinary team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

Prep Work & Ingredient Management
  • Wash, chop, portion, label, and store ingredients in accordance with recipes.
  • Assist in preparing sauces, dressings, batters, and other foundational items.
  • Follow food safety procedures for storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO).
  • Maintain prep lists and communicate completion status with the Chef/Kitchen Manager
Kitchen Operations
  • Arrive for a shift on time and in uniform. 
  • Keep prep areas clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Support line cooks during peak hours by restocking or preparing needed items.
  • Step in to assist dishwashers during rushes or when coverage is needed.
  • Wash prep tools, cutting boards, and equipment throughout the shift.
Cleanliness & Organization
  • Maintain sanitation standards throughout all prep areas.
  • Assist with deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Help with end-of-shift breakdown and storage.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 
  • Must be 18+ years of age.
  • No prior experience required — we will train!
  • Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused during high-volume shifts.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to jump in where needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in hot, fast-paced environments.
  • Night, weekend, and holiday availability required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the taproom.
